Channel penstock


MATERIAL OF CONSTRUCTION:
- inox Aisi 304, Aisi 316, Aisi 316 Ti, and carbon steel, other upon request

USE:
-isolation, closing or reduction of rain water or wastewater flow in the channel

PRINCIPLE OF WORK:
- channel penstock is placed inside a frame which is fixed to the concrete slot inside the channel. The frame of the penstock must be poured in order to ensure the water tightness between the frame and the concrete wall. After placing and fixing in the slot of the concrete wall of the channel the penstock on three sides and at the bottom of the frame and both lateral sides. By rotating the spindle, relative movement of the nut along the spindle is conducted, thus pulling the shutting plate along. Water freely flows through light opening that emerges after the penstock plate is lifted up, while the other part of the channel intersection is water tight. The spindle of the penstock can be manual or by electric motor with a reductor. An electric cabinet used for motion and management of the penstock is installed if electric motion is needed.














Wall penstock


MATERIAL OF CONSTRUCTION:
- inox Aisi 304, Aisi 316, Aisi 316 Ti, and carbon steel, other upon request

USE:
-isolation, closing or reduction of drinking water or wastewater flow at the walls of rounded or rectangular sections.

PRINCIPLE OF WORK:
- wall penstock is fixed to the wall of the manhole by expansion bolts, the surface of the wall must be smooth and without deviations in order to ensure the water tightness between the rubber gasket on the frame and the wall. The placement of the rubber gasket on the frame allows gasketing on all four sides. By rotating the spindle, relative movement of the nut along the spindle is conducted, thus pulling the shutting plate along. The spindle of the penstock can be manual or by electric motor with a reductor. An electric cabinet used for motion and management of the penstock is installed if electric motion is needed.














Manual penstock


USE:
- isolating, closing or reducing drinking or wastewater flow in the channels and at the walls of rounded or rectangular sections.

MATERIAL OF CONSTRUCTION:
- inox Aisi 304, Aisi 316, Aisi 316 Ti, and carbon steel, other upon request

PRINCIPLE OF WORK:
- manual penstock can be fixed to the concrete wall by expansion bolts if it is placed in a hole in the wall, or it can be placed within a frame which is fixed to a concrete slot inside the channel. By motioning the nut along the penstock, the flow in the channel or in the hole in the wall opens or closes.
